5: Lilek je drahý to je fakt, ale tam kde teď pracuji si s tím hlavu moc nelámou. Pokud si to hosté přejí, tak se to prostě udělá a hotovo!!
Pokud jde o chleba, je spousta místních mutací a druhů, tenhle popis mi moc neřekne, ale pokud použijete těsto z hladké bílé mouky s trochou dobrého olivového oleje – jistě ne tolik jako u focaccia, měla byste dosáhnout dobrého výsledku. Důležitá je vysoká teplota (nejméně 230 stupňů Celsia) dobře hlídat a rychle upéct, jinak vám chleba po vychladnutí ztvrdne jako kámen. Pomáhá, přikrýt ještě teplý chléb utěrkou. Pokud jste z Prahy, mrkněte se do Farahu, mají něco podobného od Turků.

Mramorovaný vajíčka ovšem taky dobrý!
Mám ještě jeden dotaz, chlebový, ale úplně odjinud. V sýrii jsme jedli takové chlebové placky nejspíš posypané černuchou, z bílé mouky, kynuté. Prolistovala jsem Rodenovou (The new book of middle eastern food) a nezdá se mi, že by něco z receptů na to přesně sedělo. Nemáte představu, co by to mohlo být, nebo jak to připravit? Možná jako italskou focacciu?
